We are often asked the best way to prevent back pain. This is usually after someone, having been through a bout of back pain, wants to ensure it doesn’t happen again or to minimise the chances of it occuring again. Always the answer is EXERCISE and numerous studies have shown this.
This new study however shows that to prevent it in the first place, the answer is again EXERCISE, whether this is just exercise on its own or with education to help prevent it. The exercises in this study included cardiovascular workouts, stretches and strengthening muscles in the back, abdomen and legs. Have a look:
